Then and Now

Even though I am sometimes disappointed by what the Labour Party does, I would never ever change my allegiance, and I wouldn't not vote. Now one of my children has gone Green on me and I understand that; it is tempting I'm sure. I was quite worried that Jonathon might feel that he had to stop supporting the labour party, but in fact he hasn't....

I didn't feel so much part of the Labour Party once I moved here (to Princes Road), and now of course the wards have changed anyway. Once I moved here I went to about 3 meetings and had to go right up into Hollingdean; it wasn't the distance but I didm't know anybody there and it didn't feel very friendly, and really I thought this is a waste of my time and if I didn't want to be the secretary which I didn't, I'm going to put my energies elsewhere.....

So yes, now of course the boundaries have changed again, and this is a Green ward (now part of St Peters and North Laine)so yes, it might make a difference to campaign Labour in this ward. Perhaps I don't mind enough -I'm quite happy with a Green person representing me- and perhaps more so than one of two of the Labour party people who I ..don't have too much faith in - on a personal level I have to say, not political.
